i watched the music videos of Apologize today. i have never seen the video for this song. i always think that Apologize gives a very sinister feel and i will just envision a very grey, sad and perhaps, mysterious scene.

napfa test was alright. exactly 31 sit-ups. i managed to hold till 10 pull-ups! haha. for sbj i jumped around my height. -.- sit-and-reach was a disappointment though, could have done better.
im counting on my 2.4km run now. it's the item that im most confident in getting an A. last year's record was 11 plus, 1 min slower than the trial run. i just hope that my vision will not go blur again if i were to sprint. it's seriously scary...
PLC meeting was filled with laughter and joy today. i felt happy too. :)

seewoon and i joined in the de-brief session for the sec 3 campfire committee. they had settled everything. :) there's still room for improvement in certain aspects. hope that they can cooperate better with one another next time, which i suppose is the Sec One Orientation Campfire 2009.
it is alright to make a mistake. as long as you are willing to admit and change for the better, people will understand, and you will also gain their respect. give some thought to it. =)

i just find it hard to trust people around me, since that incident. whoever is closer to me, the more i will not trust that person. moreover, it seems that the people i know don't trust me too.

Claris and i came up with this bizarre idea of frying sweets after we cleaned the Haven. the sweets were Fruit Plus candies, and there are loads of leftovers from the Sweet Flour game during the SRIC at camp.
we made a mess out of the flour mixture. luckily Jungang helped quite a fair bit with the mixture, 'cause i seriously don't know how to do it. (the 2 years of Homec lesson during lower sec have gone down the drain)
then i was preparing to heat the oil and accidentally tossed the whole mess tin of oil instead. the oil splashed on the area where Taylor was sitting at and he thus got an oily ass. hahaha. okay my apologies to you.
oh, the sweet wrapped with the flour mixture is really like the muah chi we see at pasar malam! lol. anyway, i still persisted in getting the 'frying sweet' experiment done. so in the end we had 2 pathetic fried candy 'muah chi'. okay it tasted like flour. (duh!)
cleaning up was funny. i went to the washroom at the dnt block only to see Taylor in the ladies. so i entered the gents instead. after that a female teacher wanted to use the washroom so she was kind of shocked to see a boy in the ladies. anyway, the washrooms there have become 'unisex' to us since long long ago. i always find myself walking into the guys' place. don't be amazed. :)
i have lots of things to write about for the camp. so i think i won't be posting so soon. school isn't great, except for cca stuffs. haha.

back from the campfire by SP Rovers!! it was truly great!
guess what?!
there were only 11 BP Guides and we were the only Guides at the campfire! the rest were boy/girl Scouts, Ventures and Rovers. haha. although we were the only people in blue, our enthusiasm was overpowering! wahahaha.

and we were the villagers of the SP village for tonight! COOL!!
their gateway was AWESOME! but a pity that i didn't snap a picture of it. not all of us went through the gateway, i think claris and some other guides went to the 'village' by the staircase. while we were waiting to go down, a Rover guy suddenly came and asked if we were wearing shorts beneath the skirts. LOL. 'cause the structure was quite high and people standing under it can actually look up.
they had the game 'Extreme Scavenger Hunt' whereby they name out a list of items. we had to get all the items and tie them together, then run to the stage! FUN & COMPETITIVE!!
in short, the whole event was really enjoyable. there was a sudden shower in the midst and we had to move indoors, but it did not dampen our spirits! the Guides kept requesting for 'SEXY' whenever there is some demonstration for dance movements. haha. and the emcees were kind enough to grant us the request! ^^
a token from SP! we love this hat so much!! maybe we should start a petition appealing to the HQ/WAGGGS to let Guides wear this kind of hat instead of our blue and not very glamorous hats. (why can't Guides have berets! RARRR!)

Mum made popcorn yesterday! ^^

caught the movie Water Horse with my family today. and i didn't know what movie we were going to watch till we went into the cinema. haha. 'cause my parents made online bookings but i didn't ask them about the movie.
a movie worth watching. some parts of tear-shedding here and there. it is very touching to see the boy, Angus, have such a close relationship with his best pal which is the water horse, Crusoe.
i tried holding my tears and thought that i succeeded. then another damn touching scene came and finally the pearl drops just rolled down freely.
so, does the water horse really exist? there have been cases of people reporting the sights of it. the Lochness in Scotland has become a tourist attraction as people visit the beautiful countryside lake to try their luck. oh, you also get to enjoy breath-taking sceneries in the movie. real eye-opener. =)

this is mine. i like cream cheese. and it's the first time im trying cinnamon, not bad though.
yet i still like the original donuts that are sprinkled with sugar icing. at least i won't get sick of that. i think that donuts with all the fanciful toppings is just another business strategy by entrepreneurs. people get attracted to the colourful and appealing donuts and will buy them.
fyi, 2 plain donuts with suagr icing contain the amount of calories of a meal of an average person. if the donuts have toppings, the amount of calories will be much higher than that.
think about all those donuts that you had happily shoved down your oesophagus since the donut trend started. X)

with more friends' birthdays coming, im suddenly reminded that mine is arriving in barely two months time... although 16 means that you finally gain the legal access to watch NC16 movies, i rather not. my birthday happens to coincide with exams, for this year, common test 2 undoubtly.

the graduating classes have been granted the privilege of holding a senior prom! they are now getting the names of those who are attending. :)

but the response from our class is pretty pathetic. 4 people currently, that's excluding me, 'cause i chose to follow the others. (which is so not a thing for Cheryl Thian to do!)

i completed my Literature timed practice today! though there's nothing to be happy about, but i have a sense of achievement, 'cause there were 4 questions and it took us quite a long time to do it. haha. after that i went to help Dumont with the building of gadgets. to be precise, only the APL and another boy were there. what happened to the rest?
after that went home with jungang and taylor. my dear brother was carrying so many things in his arms and the pile of books and papers just dropped onto the road when we were crossing the traffic light. LOLOL.
many of my dear friends are leaving for learning trips to Vietnam and China tomorrow.

since we were having our last biology lesson today for this week, Mrs Joseph gave us our holiday assignments. 8 pieces of them, all on human reproduction. you know what she said?

lol i don't think parents will even bother if we ask them questions on this topic. after all, what we are learning now is way more complicated than the basic knowledge. and i hate studying the male reproductive organ because there are like hell lots of glands and ducts(maybe not a lot, but definitely more than one).... -.- and the functions of the glands are about the same, just that they have different names. -.-

the sec 4 Guides were waiting for Ms Phua outside the office after school. we were congregated outside the office when Guang Jie (the bright sister who loves to go shopping) came down and told us that Ms Phua was absent. -.-
and to think that the clerk even called out for Ms Phua in the staffroom. LOL!
after that the few of us went to help out with the buying of neccessities for the camp. haha we were comparing the prices and stuff just like typical HDB tai-tais do. we spent quite some time in at NTUC and returned to school fully loaded. i was carrying the jams like a baby luh. haha. :)
Mr Tai wanted us to plan a revision schedule for O's this coming one-week vacation. i doubt i will be having holidays. schoolwork, camp, giraffe's work... all crashing down at once, out to see me dead.

newspaper collection today was quite fun i would say. we walked quite a distance from Concord Primary to the block that we were assigned too. but i think it's good to walk, especially when most of us are leading sedentary lifestyles now, which is a major NO-NO to our health. :x
i was in the same group as hweetian, yunying and farhan. we were in charge of combing the 6th storey and below. most of the residents were cooperative and friendly, except for a man who
is ignorant to us when we have been standing outside his flat for quite some time. he chose to ignore us and walked into his bedroom. and i think it's like master, like pet. his dog doesn't bark at strangers, just as nonchalant as his owner. -.-

we were done with our tasks quite early but Rashidah said that we can only be dismissed at 12.30pm. so for the 1 hour plus at the void deck, we had a sharing session. i went home for tuition afte lunch. and because of this i didn't get to go to the campsite with the others.
oh, now Dear knows who giraffe is! or rather, he has met giraffe! what a small world.
later in the evening, we had dinner with Ross and Christine. we went to Crystal Jade at Causeway Point. instead of the rich-flavoured dishes that they usually order at Chinese restaurants, we had congee this time! with Christine as the exception who had noodles. the congee is nice, i ordered sliced beef and fish but i think that the beef is somehow too raw and i felt sick of it. i don't mind raw fish, but raw meat is rather disgusting.
we are having the dinner also because Sis will be away for 2 weeks at UK with Ross. they are going over to celebrate his mum's birthday, plus a good break from work.
