we had the NDP full dress rehearsal today. after that, mx mummy, wenhao, minghan, gerald, jungang, uncle victor, szelee and i went for dinner at Lot 1. (so many people! LOL.) all of us had bubbletea and mummy, uncle, aunt and i spent quite a long time waiting at Sweet Talk haha. then i took the train home with jungang at almost 9 pm, which is kind of late actually. lol.
okay im tired now, see you! ^^

YESTERDAY ^^
we had dinner before mrs joseph briefed us on what we were supposed to do. after the audience had went in to the theatre, the place was quiet, and pretty cold too. so we just sit down and chatted, while waiting for the time to pass, haha.

i want to SLAP that disgusting person who wants the whole world to know of him! (but come to think of it, his face is too gross for me to even slap. ewww...)
okay, i shan't bother about that disgusting attention seeker. he's a LOSER!
after the interval, there was quite a lot of food leftover. seriously, who will want to eat so much during a 20-minute interval? well, the teachers said we had to take some home. i guess they are the ones who want to take them home, because they sprinted into action immediately! LOL.

we had nothing much to do after clearing the things, except to idle around. ^^

today's first period was A-math. look at what we had done!
yinshuen was letting her calculator absorb the light energy by leaving it on the table under the light. so i came up with a better idea - place the calculator higher. (well, it's not exactly that high, but it's still higher anyway!)
then ys learnt my method too. haha.
these are some of the yoghurt candies which ys gave to me.
we had drills after school, which ended at 5 plus pm. then i met mom and chris for dinner at admiralty.
its not even the seventh month yet and they are selling these things meant for mid-autumn!
chris said that this is the slimmest 3G phone ever. ARE YOU SURE?

during reading period/form class, gerald, hweetian and i were having some conversation about random stuffs. then i started this "attention-seeking" thing and whatever anyone of us does, we would say that he or she was trying to seek attention haha. i really laughed like mad! even the little actions can be interpreted as trying to seek attention LOL!
after we stopped the the 'game' for some time, i heard the sound of Tiger's whistle outside the class. so we came up with this conclusion:
Tiger is the MOST ATTENTION-SEEKING person in BP! haha.^^

this morning mummy made an omelette. :)
looks nice, isn't it?
i didn't manage to catch the earlier train in the morning. i was almost late for school but luckily the weather was gloomy so there was no morning assembly. then i headed straight to A-math class. as usual, peacock took his very own sweet time to come to class. LOL.
we had our chinese test during CL lesson. i didn't know how to write MOST of the words and had to write words that are close in meaning. Duck it, i would have lost quite a 'HEFTY SUM' of marks there.
and, our group presented during Lit. lesson. seriously, i really wish that we could start on Midsummer Night's Dream sooner! im getting sick of Montag, Clarisse, Mildred, Beatty and Montag and Mildred and Clarisse and Beatty and Mildred and Clarisse... (haha, that's bradbury's style of writing - repetition.)
during cme, we had a sharing session, by eugene and hanyan. hanyan is amazing. okay, not that i can't do whatever she can do, but most people just can't no matter how hard they try. the only thing that i can't manage is her skill of bending her fingers back till it touches her hand. OUCH! after that, miss aza talked to us about the topic in the cme book. haha an interesting topic that engaged almost the whole class in the discussion. LOL.
i stayed back after school to teach yinshuen a-math matrices. hmm. yinshuen, continue to work hard, i know you can do it! =)

so we had guides meeting yesterday!! ^^ The Princess is happy!
well, before the meeting starts, the usual bunch of us gathered at 3T1 and 3T2 classrooms. i was still in 3M1 after dismissal doing my work when i heard a loud, familiar voice outside. yes, my dear JINGFANG. she said she was going to help jane polish her boots. (jane, learn to polish the boots yourself! don't abuse your junior okay!!) hahaha.
a while later i went to change into Guides uniform. Banana and huilin were in the washroom too. after changing i was hesitating if i should tie my hair. my hair is like OMG! it has grown so fast that it is touching the collar soon. actually there is no need for me to tie it up, but i still did anyway! partly due to the NDP rehearsal, and i had this sudden temptation to tie up my hair! (after some 50 days, since 1 Jun, of leaving my hair down)
they were quite shocked to see my new hairstyle haha! and i think jingfang kept mistaking me for eunice. oh, jane tied up her hair too! wow, we are the perfect couple, with the couple's hairstyle. =) then i changed into my boots and popped up at 3T1. huilin was helping jiamin the queen to tie her hair.

all the UGs were involved in the rehearsal during late afternoon. i like the way things are arranged this year. pray hard that no Guides will have to fall out! oops, im reminded of that frightening incident during drills session before Thinking Day. T.T i thought im going to die man! i was so scared that i cried.
after everything has ended, i went to Lot 1 with jf, kj and steph. steph and jf had their dinner while kj and i only had ice-cream. LOL. we had a sharing-of-lame-jokes session. jf had a lot of lame jokes to tell, plus some not-so-healthy jokes. we waited till jf the slowpoke finished her food before leaving. :)
my change after 50 days since cutting my hair! ^^
i think i look like a little kid here. omg.
okay, i am Little Princess! ^^

after posting this entry i really have to go to bed. it's going to be a oh-such-a-so-freaking-long day tomorrow.
this morning had to rush to school from the bus-stop as the bus came quite late. silin and i started to run once we entered the school gate. when i reached the assembly ground, yushang said to me, "cheryl, why do you look so pale? don't faint on me!" LOL. i didn't know that i would ever look PALE. haha.
we had lessons till 12.30pm after which i went to the hall with eugene and chester for the briefing about speech day and all the rules and regulations. CRAP. after that had lunch with hweetian and we walked about the school. we went to the monkey bars and played for a while and then started to practise part of the YMP dance steps. haha it's so fun!
at 2 pm we reported to the lower sec campus for O' level LC examination. it ended at 3++ pm. then ping ping, ht and i went to Lot 1 to buy bubbletea. =) after that we went home together.
there is early dismissal tomorrow too! too bad i have to attend speech day.

i woke up at 12 noon today. have slept for 13++ hours. LOL. i went to bed quite early last night, just felt tired and there was nothing that i can do except for engaging in the programs of the goggle box, which don't interest me.
met hweetian at Woodlands Regional Library yesterday. we encountered a strange yet funny black woman in the midst of doing our work.
*ht and i were preoccupied in our work.*
then came a black woman who exclaimed so loudly, "HEY, CAN I HAVE A SEAT HERE?"
we answered "yes" since we have no reason to decline her request. lol.
*so she sat down and we continued with our work.*
after some time, she started to mutter something. at first we thought she was on the phone, so we ignored her. then her volume got louder, and obviously she's talking to HERSELF. she said something like "yeah, what about Singapore government? i've been to the prison before.... im the boss..." in a dignified tone.
it was quite distracting so ht typed on her phone "let's pack and leave here."
after leaving the library, we began to talk about the crazy people we have encountered. actually its quite fun to see people acting in funny ways, talking to themselves. but it's definitely not pleasant to encounter sick people. o.o
we went to Causeway Point and bought some food. i bought bread and ht had fries and ice-cream from McDonald's. after that we walked around and looked at some stuff. we left at 4++ pm.

went to Causeway Point again! had lunch with yinshuen, yinkee and amreeth at Yoshinoya after some hesitation at Pasta Mania. LOL. after that we shopped around and went home at about 4pm. =)
we've started on a new dance for YMP!!! i like dance steps! cool and challenging. LOL.
Hweetian's & Cheryl's current goal: to be able to do the split! LOL. stretch everyday! i was almost able to do it that time... T. T
O' level CL listening comprehension is on the coming monday!! >.o

LOL! i find this very funny.
haha, you won't know what i am talking about. ^^
drills today was, not exactly fun. i don't know why my left arm felt so tired, and my elbow hurts. i was afraid that i might just flung my arm too hard and it dislocates again, haha.
some people even swing their hands so high that it went above the shoulder level of another person who is taller. perhaps they need a few sessions of chopstick-arm-straightening-physiotherapy. okay, i shall not elaborate. it annoys me to see hands flying so high up as if they are space shuttles.
there will be no Guides meeting tomorrow. it will be so boring after school.. o.o

another typical wednesday.
i went home right after school.
i have not gone home at such an early hour for a long, long time... i suddenly felt strange sitting in the train, the sunshine shining brightly into the cabin. the last time when i went home at this time was... i forgot when it was. nowadays, i am returning home later, usually in the evening, i don't get to see the radiant sun as much as before.
then my thoughts started to generate. i think, of what it will be like now if all of us hadn't get to know one another in the first place, or rather, keep in contact. recalling, four to five months back... we were, strangers, not knowing even the slightest thing of each other. isn't it amazing? so many things can happen within such a short period of time. people bond closer, we see more familiar faces now as we walk.
friendliness or awkwardness, should it be? we can talk with almost no problem through the satellites. yet when eyes meet, silence. the words just get stuck within, for apparently, no reason. or maybe it could be a pretence. all of us are putting on a mask on our faces, therefore we don't regconise each other when we see each other. that explains it, probably, because strangers don't talk.

monday - IMPORTANT DAY!!
3m1 and Chia Bomb sat for O' levels CL oral examination after school. i was quite tensed about it but it turned out to be fine... a stone lifted off my heart haha.
i managed to let my ideas flow out during the conversation. so i was talking on and on, but i was stuck at some points and that's when i stopped abruptly. the examiners prompted me which got my mind unblocked and i continued to speak. the good thing is, I CONCLUDED MY CONVERSATION!!! well, it's not something that is really great to have made a conclusion, but i had always ended my conversations with the examiners abruptly without concluding my opinions. therefore, i see it as an improvement! LOL.
tuesday - which is today!
i looked up yinshuen at her class right after school. then yinkee, amreeth and us planned to go to Lot 1 but went to Causeway Point instead. we searched for our 'essential stuff to bring for OBS'. mainly they are sunblock lotion, long sleeved shirts and track pants. we also bought some accessories at Chamelon. after that we proceed to John Little and spent quite a long time there. ys the VAINPOX and yk bought their stuff and later we left. ^^
i saw a necklace which attracts me, they commented that it's pretty too! =)

well, this reminds me of my birthday in 2005, 05.05.05! ^^
back to the core subject of today.... LIVE EARTH!!
for those who do not have the slightest idea about this, Live Earth is a series of concerts taking place across the 7 continents on Earth on this special day for 24 hours! its agenda is an urgent call-to-action to start taking steps to save our one and only Mother Earth.
CNA is having a new 6-part environmental series Saving Gaia starting on July 23, 8.30pm. according to the news article in Today, the word 'Gaia' was chosen because if words such as global warming, climate change were used, it will not be able to attract the attention of people since these terms have been used for so long.
'Gaia' means Mother Earth in Greek. it is still a fresh word to most people even though i know this word.
even the channel logos of MediaCorp TV stations have dressed up in green for today, so do the magazine mastheads of 8 Days and i-Weekly. the masthead of this weekend edition of Today has also gone green! that's pretty cool. i shall post my entry in GREEN too. LOL.
its time for us to protect the environment. although im not a geog student, everyone should play a part, don't you agree? ^^

after my history test yesterday, kj and i headed for Causeway Point. she was going there to claim her phone which has been sent for servicing. as we made our way towards the entrance, we saw a lot of people holding a bottle of Coca Cola in the hands. there was a booth outside BK so we went over and...
we got a bottle of coke each for free!! so they were having a promotion for the new Coca Cola Light - zero calorie. i like the wrapping of the bottle haha.
this is the freebie we got! LOL.
then we had lunch at LJS and later accoompanied kj to the Nokia shop. however, the queue was quite long and i left after staying for a while.
GREAT NEWS!!
3m1 emerged as champion for the racial harmony day Recycled Material Costume competition! thanks to huiqing, hannah, eleanor, weifen and those who had helped with the costume design. they had really put in a lot of effort for this competition. i was asked to be their model and tada! i was dressed in the costume. the mask was my favourite, as it provides a mystical look. haha.
after the parade, where the mascots from each class were introduced, jesmine chung took a a picture of all of us. and i think its going to look quite funny. later we went to the backstage and wait for the announcement of results. i was still talking to the others when the emcees suddenly announced 3m1 was the 1st class. what was unexpected was when they asked the mascot to do the walk again. i was like 'huh? what did you say?' so i did the walk, feeling quite awkward as i did not know what to do. -.-
Guides had drills this afternoon. when some of them saw me, they went 'Butterfly Lady!' as the costume had a large butterfly on it. lol. drills were quite fun. i don't know why i seem to have this sudden passion for drills, haha. so now i LOVE drills sessions, but not the sun maybe. ^^
DURIAN PUFFS AND TARTS!!!
for durian lovers, you may love these. my dad's colleague gave him this box of durian puffs and tarts which are from Goodwood.
the ones at the top row are puffs while the bottom ones are tarts. look at the yellow creamy part and you may think its ice-cream. but its real durian!
LOL. there is only one word to describe this - Heavenly!!
you should go and try it. but i have no idea about its cost haha. ^^
