this morning we went back to the 'old' campus for newspaper collection!! Banana in Pyjamas was so excited about it. we reached thr at 8++ am and toured the school. i had a look at the Guides Haven and then played monkey bars with them. LOL. as we were making our way back to the parade square, MP was 'reprimanding' us for going beyond the office area.(well, the school din say that we cnt tour the school in the first place, so stop being so cocky!)

we din hav much collections from my assigned block.(mind you, the residents are still sleeping!!) but the stuff collected in total was a lot. after our collection, huiqing, yunying and i went to the coffeshop to buy drinks.(jiamin, ROTO PRATA!!!) then we helped arnd with the arrangement of items.

we left at about 11+ am. i went back to the teck whye campus to get back my guide's skirt. i left it in the lower sec canteen ytd. cuz im so into the mini drills session the sec 2 n 3s are having. this is how we greeted our ma'ams:

"good night ma'ams" (when its supposed to be 'good evening')

mingxian gave this command "squad, scratch ur heads!" its so funny!

OH YES. before that, we went for the gardening at the home. jiamin killed a millipede unintentionally and i damaged a plant while trying to get it out. the whole plant cnt be used after that. and, fortunately the weather was rather gloomy and cool, we dun hav to worry much abt getting sun burnt!!

well, i guess that will be it for today.

agenda for tmr guides meeting: GARDENING. omg. the Hot Sun with its cousin, UV Rays...
nevertheless, we shall have level bonding again on our way to the Home!!

this afternoon after completing my hist SEQ in sch, i went to meet claris and girls. 6 ppl for level bonding! i arrived late and may had missed out on some of the juicy gossips. we still had fun thou.
the moment i reached Mc they turned the attention on me. the 'fresh' subject from the recent camp: abt me and wh bearing a resemblance. i dun think we even look similar at all!! he must hav a prob with his eyes, compared both of us for 2 times!
and so, our conversation revolved mainly around the affairs of guides and scouts. we will never hav enough to talk about.
before we left, kaijun advised us on something. rest assured dear kaijun, we will be VERY careful. it sounded as if he is really scheming.
therefore, my conclusion:
appearances can be deceitful

on sunday morning, mum came home with this top for me. isn't it nice?

in the evening, we went to AMK Hub for the first time since the building opened its doors.

you see? the 'Ms Swan' smile has become his signature pose for now.

we shopped at the Fairprice Xtra. it's reali huge and crowded. thr's an uncivilised auntie who pushed me from behind. bro said that a man blew air(may be filthy) into his hair while walking past him. the items sold range from household to furniture, food to cosmetics. lots of them were on sale, so u can see discounted prices everywhere. i bought some food items needed for the camp's outdoor cooking too. lol

it's the start of March holidays!! in a wink of the eye term 1 is over. common test just ended last monday. we've gotten some of our papers back. the rest like Literature and HCL will be given back when sch reopens.
i was thinking of meeting Huirong sis tmr but it looks like i hav to abort my plan now. thr r so many assignments frm sch, projects excluded. my holiday has been ruined.

mon & tue - meet hui jin and guys in SCH for lit prj. at the same time i hav to hand in the hcl compos that are dued in term 1. oh yes, i also hav to prepare for the stupid UG camp.
wed, thu & fri - dummy UG camp la. hav to stay in the worse-than-hell-school for 3 DAYS!!
sat & sun - ML's lecture.
no free day throughout the 'holidays'. WHAT A GREAT HOLIDAY ISN'T IT?

it's already the 15th day of Chinese New Year, commonly known as Yuan Xiao. let me catch up with the past week.
last saturday the guides went to Indoor Stadium to celebrate Thinking Day. nothing great, we were tortured by total boredom, boring emcees, boring songs and boring presentations.
anyway, i took a few shots on the way home :)

soon after i reached home, we went out again. as it was also the 7th day of CNY(ren ri - everyone's b'dae), we attended a CNY dinner held at the nearby RC. here's a few shots taken after we left home.

the food served at the dinner-celebration was quite nice. we also had a lo-hei session(cantonese for tossing of raw fish salad, more commonly known as yu sheng to Chinese).

jasmine and elson were thr too, we sat at the same table. all of us were having so much fun laughing at those karaoke contestants who sang mostly hokkien songs. thr was also an elderly couple who were so good at dance. they were practically dancing to every song while the rest of us were eating, what a good way to lose weight, haha.

ytd, Dad brought bro and me to the temple to pray for the tai-sui. this year the zodiac, monkey, is in the namelist. it was said that if u dun pray if ur zodiac is named for the year, you will not hav good luck throughout the year. things will not progress smoothly for you and thr will be lots of troubles.

however, our family prayed mostly for safety and good health. we dun giv a damn for wealth or ask to strike the Toto.
